Cachapuz has decided to sponsor the purchase of schoolbooks for the employees' children for the school year 2012/ 2013 according to its Social Commitment policy. With this measure, the company aims to soften the clash in family budgets that the children's return to school causes at times of financial austerity.
This support measure considers all company staff with children attending school up to the 12th grade. The fund aims to support, if not all, almost the entire budget spent in purchasing the required schoolbooks for this school year.
The funds will be distributed in the following way: a helping hand of 50 euros will be assigned for every child in primary school; in junior highschool the help goes up to 175 euros and in highschool the support ascends to 250 euros.
This measure does not consider the members of the company's board of directors.
The goal is making the employees feel backed up at this time of crisis and succeed in overcoming the difficulties. The Company is also relying on them to keep the leadership in the industrial weighing sector.
